You will find out that there is lots of different ways with this bullshit to get the same outcome so you might find contradiction information out there, most ways will work though and some games you need to tinker with. I haven't used prepiso so can't help with that but really you don't want to be using webman to install stuff webman is great for launching the games but install with multiman. Some people seem to like iso and it fixes some problems but I prefer folder format so I can actually go into the folder and change things if I need to. iso and will likely be over 4GB so you will have to split it or unpack it anyway, the JB folder is just the iso file unpacked.
If you download full iso it will come as one file.
You will not have to do anything if you just download the folder & check it with ps3splitter before you put it on a usb stick and put it on your ps3.
